Lenovo brand Moto just recently launched its Moto Z2 Play smartphone with Moto Mods support in India. However, the company plans to release three more smartphones into the market before the end of summer, a fresh leak hints. It claims Moto G5S Plus, Moto X4, and Moto Z2 Force are all launching in India real soon, and the prices of all the three smartphones at launch have also been tipped.

Tipster Andri Yatim has taken to Twitter to reveal that the Moto G5S Plus, Moto X4, and Moto Z2 Force are all launching in India this summer. The big USP of all the three devices will be the dual camera setup at the back. The tipster claims that the Moto G5S Plus will be priced at Rs. 17,999, the Moto X4 will be priced at Rs. 20,999, and the Moto Z2 Force will be priced at Rs. 38,999. There is no tangible timeline as to when all the smartphones will launch, except for the vague summer release, but all the smartphones are launching in India soon, according to the tipster.

Moto G5S Plus, Moto Z2 Force, Moto X4 Price in India Leaked, Tipped to Launch Soon

The Moto G5S Plus has been leaked on several occasions in the past hinting at an imminent launched. Leaks reveal that the smartphone may sport a dual camera setup, a front flash, and a round-shaped Home Button. Some of rumoured specifications of the Moto G5S Plus include 5.5-inch full-HD display, octa-core processor, and Android 7.0 Nougat.

Moto’s new ‘X’ series is also expected to get an addition with the Moto X4, however, this is the first time the device has been tipped anywhere. We know very little about this device as of now. The Moto Z2 Force image leaks in the past tip a similar design to the recently launched Moto Z2 Play and will come with support for Moto Mods as well. However, the big difference will be the dual camera setup at the back.

The Moto Z2 Force is expected to sport a ShatterShield screen and feature support for Gigabit LTE. As Gigabit LTE is currently supported only by Snapdragon 835 SoC, the Moto Z2 Force will feature the aforementioned processor if not a newer variant.

Google Pixel, Pixel XL Tipped to Receive Android O in August, Ahead of Nexus Devices

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The rollout is expected to happen in August
  • Nexus devices to get the update later
  • Android O update coming Nokia and OnePlus devices as well

Android O was one of the biggest highlights of Google I/O 2017 this year, and to test waters the search giant has also released Android O in a public beta. The timeline for a public release is usually at the same time as the launch of the new Pixel device in October. However, a new tip hints that the current Pixel devices will be the first to receive a stable update to Android O, as early as August.

Android Police’s David Ruddock tweeted this information claiming that the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL will be the first to receive Android O. The update will be rolled out in the first or second week of August, ahead of Nexus devices. This is way in advance from last year’s rollout timeline as well. This isn’t to say that Nexus devices won’t be receiving an update, but only a little later.

Ruddock claims that he got the information from a reliable source, but we recommend you to not get your hopes up until Google announces it officially.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 With Dual Rear Cameras Tipped to Launch Mid-August

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Galaxy Note 7 was also launched mid-August last year
  • Samsung is reportedly working on three different camera modules
  • The smartphone is expected to feature Infinity display

The successful launch and sales of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones seems to have boosted Samsung’s confidence as the company has now been tipped to launch its Galaxy Note 8 smartphone around mid-August. Separately, the details about the dual rear camera setup on the smartphone have also been leaked.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 With Dual Rear Cameras Tipped to Launch Mid-August

First talking about the tipped launch timeline, as per a report by South Korean publication The Bell, the South Korean conglomerate is said to be launching the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 flagship ahead of IFA event in September, which was earlier the launching ground for Note series smartphones until last year’s Galaxy Note 7. Notably, the company was earlier expected to delay the launch of its upcoming Note flagship as rushing the launch of Galaxy Note 7 last year resulted in faulty batteries that caused explosion cases associated with the smartphone. The company has reportedly kept the same timeline for launch as last year to get a headstart ahead of iPhone 8 launch. As Apple might have a few tricks up its sleeves at the launch event this year, this cannot be termed as a bad move.

Moving to the leak about Galaxy Note 8’s dual camera setup, a Weibo tipster has suggested that the smartphone will feature two 13-megapixel sensors at the back, as pointed out in a report by Phones Daily. Further, the tipster has mentioned that the company is working on three different dual camera modules. While Samsung Galaxy C10 has already been spotted featuring dual camera setup in different renders, we might have to wait to figure out the reference of the third dual camera setup.

To recall, well-known KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously suggested that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor.

Recently, reports suggested that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be the first smartphone to feature Snapdragon 836 processor. Earlier leaks have suggested that the smartphone will come with a 6.3-inch Infinity display and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is also said to pack 6GB of RAM, and offer up to 256GB of storage.

While earlier there were rumours of an integrated fingerprint scanner under the display, Samsung reportedly ditched the plans due to concerns regarding security of this feature.
